Why Partner with the Midnight Sun Assistive Technology Conference (MSATC)?

The MSATC has evolved into one of the top rated conferences for persons with disabilities, family members, researchers, service providers, community leaders, advocates, policymakers and recognized professionals from various disciplines in the diverse field of disabilities. There are many different ways to become a MSATC sponsor. A sponsorship may be given for general support for the 2011 Midnight Sun Assistive Technology Conference, for a specific event, speaker, or to support a scholarship.

As a Financial Sponsor, you can showcase your organization and demonstrate your commitment to people with disabilities and the organizations that support them. Your sponsorship will help underwrite conference costs to make it easily affordable and accessible to all who wish to attend. In addition, Financial Sponsors will receive recognition in conference publications and on the conference web page. An In-Kind Sponsor may provide advertisements in our trade publication, mailing lists, or other valuable support to the conference, including products for our conference game give-away or services of interest or value to conferees. An In-Kind Sponsor will be assigned to the same level of Sponsorship Opportunity, depending on the market value of the service provided, with the appropriate benefits for that level of sponsorship.

Alternatively, for those unable to provide financial or in-kind sponsorship, please consider being a Cooperating Partner by helping to spread the word. If you can announce the conference in your newsletters, post information on your calendars and website, issue a press release, and/or email prospective participants, you can help ensure a successful conference. Cooperating Partners will be recognized in conference publications and on the conference web site.

For the Gold Sponsorships, we will increase your visibility opportunities at our conference to include your logo on conference materials, an opportunity to speak to participants at the opening plenary session, public recognition, and sponsorship on our website.

The MSATC is considered to be “the place” where our Alaskan community gains knowledge about cutting edge practices and information on assistive technology. Whether they are teachers, agency leaders, parents, or self advocates, they depend on our conference to give them the information they need. With the economic downturn, budget cuts and layoffs, many of our participants will not be able to attend. We have started a scholarship drive for them and hope you can help!
